The Neurokind Story
At NeuroKind Collective, we are a community of passionate BCBAs committed to reshaping the narrative around autism through kindness, inclusion, and evidence-based practice. Our mission is to elevate awareness, celebrate neurodiversity, and empower others by sharing accessible, compassionate insights rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis.
We believe that every individual deserves to be seen, supported, and heard—and we're here to lead with heart, advocate with integrity, and create a more inclusive world for all.
Meet Kelsey
M.S., BCBA, LBA.
Hi i’m Kelsey! I have been a BCBA since 2023 and prior to that I was a Certified Recreation Therapy Specialist (CTRS) which helped launch me into this niche field of ABA. If I wasn't working with the world’s cutest kids, I would probably live out my “alternate dream job” as a Criminal Behavior Analyst and satisfy my interest in true crime.
Being here, I find myself really driven by the movement toward client-centered therapy and a huge focus on assent. I am a firm believer that the founding fathers of ABA set the stage, but a lot of what we know and talk about now, has gotten stuck in the 60’s (and is very dry). My intent for The NeuroKind Collective is to be a safe space to talk about, educate others, advocate for, and empower the ever-changing world of neurodiversity while keeping it fresh and fun. So glad to have you along for the ride!
LOVES: Patios in the summer and scented candles
AVERSIONS: Frogs
FUN FACT 1: I’ve tried the Buffalo Wild Wings Blazin’ Challenge and got through 6 wings.
FUN FACT 2: My “claim to fame” is going internet viral when I studied abroad in college for dancing with a stranger in the streets of Paris!
Meet Megan
M.S, BCBA, LBA
Hey, Megan here! I’ve been a BCBA since 2022 and have worked across clinic, home, community, and school settings—so I’ve seen a little bit of everything. My journey began in 2020 as an RBT after I earned my degree in psychology. I quickly fell in love with the science of behavior and the meaningful relationships that come from doing this work with intention and heart.
If I wasn’t spending my days geeking out over programs and behavior change, I’d probably be traveling the world as a full-time storyteller—camera in one hand, iced coffee in the other.
When we were building NeuroKind Collective, the name NeuroKind came from a shared vision: that kindness should extend to every mind, no matter your neurotype. Advocacy for neurodivergent individuals will always be front and center—but true inclusion means building a community where all minds are valued, respected, and loved.
I'm passionate about making ABA a more client-centered, affirming space—one that leaves the dusty, outdated practices behind and focuses on real, meaningful change. So pumped you’re here—this community is just getting started.
LOVES: Traveling to new places and a really good cup of coffee
AVERSIONS: Chalk
FUN FACT 1: I love speaking in accents (although they may not be spot on all the time).
FUN FACT 2: I am a rollercoaster enthusiast and one of my “happy places” is Universal Orlando, Florida - especially during the Halloween season!
